I’m a designer, artist, almost-empty-nester and permaculture newbie. Originally from British Columbia, I've spent most of my adulthood in the Pacific Northwest and traveling the world for design work and inspiration. My work begins with making simple things feel special, listening for insights and using authentic materials. I'm a forever student and when I’m not designing or creating art in my studio, I can usually be found reorganizing some closet, sheet mulching our garden or listening to a wellness podcast.
I love using DESIGN to solve problems - especially if there's a space plan involved - and, obsess over layouts.
After 14 years creating spaces for the world's greatest sports brand, I was ready to realize a vision of my own. I'm known for making simple things feel special, listening for insights and using authentic materials.

Lois
Based in Portland, Lois brings a trained design eye with her unique pairing of degrees in interior design and architecture.
Lois has over 25 years of experience working in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams across retail, branded environments, workplaces and personal spaces. With the belief that everything begins with the experience and journey, she engages with clients to understand their personality and particular needs. This process has proven effective for the creation of unique spaces that tell a story through meticulous design and detail. Collaborating with builders and local crafts people, the spaces Lois produces are both beautiful and functional in design.
